MITA INSTALLED IN BATH UNIVERSITY

Custom-built distribution units from Mita incorporating mains power, TV and networked computer outlets, have been supplied for a new student accommodation block at the University of Bath.

Specially-designed, wall-mounted corner units have been installed by electrical contractor N.G. Bailey in each of the 450 study bedrooms in the new student hall of residence on the University's main Claverton Down campus. The new building is due to be completed in September this year.

Based on Mita's Consort dado trunking, the units are pre-wired and incorporate miniature circuit breakers for overload protection. The design not only enabled the installation to be completed rapidly and easily, but provides safe and convenient facilities for desktop computers and portable electrical equipment.
