GLASGOW firm Litecraft has been bought over by an English lighting firm in a multi-million pound deal. Bristol-based Lumination plc will take over the Kinning Park firm's business and become the leading lighting retailer in the UK. None of the 30 jobs in Glasgow will be affected by the takeover. The two businesses have many parallels and supply lights to major electrical retailers. They also provide contract lighting to hotels and businesses. The combined portfolio means that R&S Robertson, Lumination's contract division, will become the main Scottish provider and a major player in UK decorative lighting markets.
