NEW HEATSHRINK TERMINATIONS FOR APPLICATIONS UP TO 36KV

New from Wimbledon-based CTL Components is a range of competitively priced

medium-voltage heatshrink terminations that can be used on paper-insulated

cables rated up to 12kV or XLPE polymeric cables rated up to 36kV.

Particularly suitable for applications in the electricity supply industry,

the C-Shrink terminations are available in both single-core and three-core

versions in a variety of models to suit conductor sizes ranging from 16 to

1000mm2.

The terminations can be specified for either indoor or outdoor use and are

supplied with generous tail lengths. All parts are tested and certified to

the relevant standards  VDE 0278 for ratings up to 24kV and IEC 502 1994

for the 36kV versions.

Also available is a wide range of accessories, including crimping lugs and

tools, screen earthing kits, heatshrink and push-on bushing boots for indoor

terminations, and

pole-mounting brackets with stand-off insulators for outdoor terminations.
